Weekend

We had lots of fun this weekend. Friday I picked the kids up at the pool with Rachel and after a couple hours in the sun we went home to chill. Saturday we went to soccer practice and then to the temple open house with Grandma, Stran and Mimi. It was so nice and pretty inside. Seeing Moroni burnt was a highlight too. Saturday night we had our saturday night movie night and rented a video and chilled. Sunday was church (I love our new ward), and we went for a drive around Nebo Loop. It was so pretty and the kids enjoyed the scenery.
Kennedee has been having trouble breathing and thanks to our wonderful friends Scott and Jane, she now has a inhaler and Dr Scott thinks she has asthma, (he really is a Dr). She had a breathing problem the other night and kept me up while I made sure she breathed in a paper bag. After practice one night Scott and Jane heard her raspy breath in the car and decided something needed to be done. She has had problems every since the hyperventilating incident last summer and it has gotten worse and worse. Even at the temple open house she had problems breathing after practice and walking around. I hope the inhaler helps, it is pretty scary to watch her gasp for breath.
Madi is doing great, she is making lots of friends and is going to sign up for dance and baseball soon. She is blending in very well.
I am loving my lesser commute and I am able to spend more time with the kids and enjoy the warm weather going for walks and chilling outside.

July 4th

We had a great day hanging with family. We went to our ward breakfast and headed up north for the day. The kids got lots of candy at the parade and we spent the day outside. They were all so tired they fell asleep on the way to watch fireworks. Even Gucci was worn out. She was tired from chasing cats at Grandma's and Grandpa's.

Done at last

Finally, the move is done. I am so happy to have it behind us. The 3 of us are exhausted. We had more boxes than 3 people need. I thought we would be unpacking forever. But after 6 days, I think we are moved in and unpacked. I am so grateful for every one who helped us. It took a huge load off me to have all the help. Work has been so stressful and the move on top of that was to much so I appreciate ALL the help.
It didn't take my little social butterfly long to find friends. We had only been here a couple days and Kennedee has friends and is asking if she can go hang out. It helped to already know people before we came but Kennedee is so social that she jumped right in. There is a little girl who lives 2 doors over Madison's age but she is visiting family out of town. Madi is excited for her to come home so they can meet and hopefully be friends. Madi has jumped right in too. She loves to go out and ride her bike and she will go alone. For those who know her that is awesome. She even stayed home alone for 10 minutes the other night and she wasn't nervous. She is really growing up and coming out of her shell. We went to church last week in our new ward and people were so nice and friendly and they went out of their way to approach us and help us find our way. It was a breath of fresh air.
This week has been crazy with unpacking and trying to clean the condo and get out of there that for the holiday, I told the kids we could have fun. This morning we got up at 6:00 am and went to the freedom festival and watched the hot air balloons inflate and take off. It was cool to see how big they are. We came home and ate french toast and took a nap. Then we went to the festival to walk through the booths. It was warm and nice. Tonight Kennedee is going to play night games with the neighborhood kids and tomorrow we are going to the ward breakfast and then up north to the parade and hang with family. Later we will watch the fireworks from the stadium of fire and sunday, church and chill.
