Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving from my little pilgrim.
Madisons school had colonial day where they did everything like the pilgrims did. So this is how she went to school. We couldn't come up with any pilgrim clothes. She tried an outfit on and we thought she looked like a missionary so luckly we found some pioneer clothes from the trek. How fun to live like the pioneers for just one day. Madison did a community project this week and worked with the primary to round up blankets and coats and delivery them to the fire station. Just the 5th grade kids got go to the fire station. They tried on the fire clothes and got to play on the trucks. She had a lot of fun and learned about service along the way. She had a lot of fun.

I have been wanting to go to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra again, so this year I took Kennedee. I knew she would love it. Madison's ears are way to sensitive so she would have hated the loud music. I loved it. 3 hours of loud rock music. So well worth the money. Kennedee and I did a a little headbanging and dancing in our seats. We went to the matinee and I checked her out of school a little early, (that was a rare treat). We walked through the gateway a little before and after the concert. I can't wait to go again next year.

I am also very proud of Kennedee she made the honorable mention allstate team for soccer as a freshman.
From the daily herald: Midfielders: Kristine Bodine, Orem; Mary Mitton, Timpview; Aarika Anderson, Woods Cross; Kennedee Tracy, Maple Mountain; Krista Whittle, Sky View; Kami Deeb, Bonneville

Happy Halloween

Halloween has come and gone. The sun is gone and the cold winds of winter are blowing in.
Kennedee is done with football and it is a little sad. I will miss the freshman team and coaches. I was so impressed, I wish the coaches would move on to Sophmore team, but that's not how it works. Kennedee is back to Sparta and practicing a lot getting ready for the San Diego tournament over Thanksgiving. ODP tryouts are going on and school Basketball tryouts. That kid is so busy. She hates to sit still for to long but she pushes herself way to hard.
Madison has decided to quit dance, it makes me sad but the fights every week to get her there was exhausting. She stays busy going to friends houses all the time and working hard to get the Golden Explorer at school.
For Halloween Madi was an 80's girl with Tess. Kennedee and I went to Madison's school to watch the Halloween parade. Such cute costumes. Madison went trick or treating with Tess and her sister and was gone a few hours. Minutes after she left I was sitting in the house and heard a strange noise outside. I had the windows open and looked outside and it was hailing. Side ways hail was coming down pretty hard and it didn't take long for the roofs to turn white. Poor kids. It didn't last and it didn't stop the kids from coming to get their candy.
For school Kennedee had crazy mismatch day. She took every advantage of that to dress as crazy as possible.
