Lordy Lordy guess who turned 40

Yep that would be me. My birthday was this last week. I am much older than I feel. The kids and I spent the weekend doing whatever I wanted. Except for all the rain, it was fun. We went to Park City on saturday and Kennedee, Me, Madi, Jaime and Stran rode the Alpine Slide. Madison was a little freaked out but she loved it. We went to lunch at the mexican resturant by the slide and hung out. Saturday night we went to the county fair and sunday we went to church and chilled.
Monday was my actual birthday and I went to work and to lunch with some friends. Monday night was the open house for Kennedee's new school so I dropped her off with Rachel and Madi and I chilled. The kids decorated the house and made me a cake. My one goal I had this year was to loose 20 lbs by my birthday. I did that and now just need 10 more pounds to get off.
The kids started school this week and they both love it. Kennedee loves her new school and her friends Rachel and Madi make sure they introduce her to everyone and she has met a lot of new people. Madison so far seems happy. She likes her new teacher and she has decided she wants to read all the Harry Potter books. She is on her way with the first one. Madison has come out of her shell this summer and she wasn't nervous at all to start her new school. Madi has started playing soccer and is taking dance and is loving it most of the time.
Kennedee is still playing a ton of soccer and loves it. I start back to school next week taking 2 classes a night until the end of the year.
It is a little windy in the mornings.

I can't believe the summer is almost over. The kids start school in a little over a week. The end of July Kennedee went to a soccer tournament in San Diego. She was able to go with her friend and Madi and I went to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole with the family. Madi had never been so she was a little nervous. We went to Bear World on our way and Madi and Stran loved it. It was a lot of fun to have the bears walk so close to our car. The weather wasn't the best and I was jealous that Kennedee went to the beach everyday and hung out for hours. They didn't do well in the tournament but she came back tan and she had alot of fun. We had fun to but we only went for a couple days, she went for a week.
We have been busy getting the kids registered for dance and school and shopping for school clothes. I think we are finally ready for school to start. Both the kids are excited for their new schools and have already made lots of friends.
Kennedee's soccer team just played in the Sparta cup this weekend and took first place. It was a fun win and they all played well. Kennedee is rarely home since we moved. Binghams take her to practice and she hangs out with Rachel alot. I almost get bored. I forgot what it was like to have spair time on my hands. Madi is loving staying home and doing her own thing instead of sitting at practice everyday.
