How time flies

I can't believe it has been a year since Nana died. The kids and I wanted to let some balloons go on the anniversary but life is so crazy we couldn't coordinate the time. For her birthday for sure. We have thought alot about her this week and had lots of conversations about the things we miss. It gets easier with time and we have gone threw all of the holidays now and those will be easier this year. Aunt Mame is still plugging along and still jokes about how she sent word with Nana to come get her but her time is not up yet as much as she wants it to be.
The kids are super busy in their fall season of soccer and I am going to school 2 nights a week. I am so grateful for the help I have to get my kids to where they need to go so I can do my school.
Kennedee's team is gearing up for a tournament in Vegas in two weeks. I am excited to just get out of town. We had a layoff at work a couple of weeks ago and luckily I still have a job, even though work is crazy busy trying to adjust, I am not complaining.
Madison has gotten the Harry Potter bug. Since the first of school she has read the first two and almost done with the third book. She has watched the first two movies over and over. I can't even get Kennedee to read a book if it is not sports related and Madison loves it. They can't be more different.
