Update

I am really bad at updating my blog. We are setting a new goal at our house. We are doing project 365. We will take 1 picture a day of something random we did that day, it doesn't matter what it is and at the end of the year we will make a book from it. We have to start Feb 1 but better late than never.
Kennedee is gearing up for a soccer tournament in Phoenix in two weeks and she can't wait. She is also practing with ODP and high school soccer camps are starting soon. She is doing great in school and loves it. She has lots of friends (more than she has time to text somedays), but she is a social butterfly and she is happy. Kennedee practices 3-4 times a week but I am glad she loves it and stays active.
Madison has a dance recital coming up and she will be trying out for the comp dance team. Madi is the typical little sister and loves bugging Kennedee and telling on her.
This weekend has been super crazy. Jaime is ready to give birth anyday. We thought it would have been friday for sure, so we went up and slept over until saturday. Nothing yet. Kennedee had practice in Park City so we headed home to get Rachel and their clothes, headed up to Park City and back to the Binghams for a sledding soccer party. The kids had a great time sledding and sitting in the hot tub. The girls get along so well and we love our soccer family.
Life is never perfect but if we were all perfect we wouldn't be here on earth. We accept the flaws in ourselves and others and we love and forgive just like our Heavenly Father wants us to. Our lives have been full of trials over the last while, but we are learning and growing from them and we will be better servants of the lord because of them.

Another Birhday

Madison turned 10 on the 18th. Holy cow they are both growing up so fast. Since Madi was at her dads on her birthday we had a party with her friends the next weekend. She invited some girls and we went to Jumpin Jacks. Grandma, Mimi and Stran came down and spent the day with us. They had so much fun jumping and running around. She got some great presents and all in all it was a great 10th birthday. Madison is getting so grown up. She ALWAYS follows the rules and will let us know if we don't. She does great in school and this year she is loving the 4th grade. She loves her teacher and has lots of friends. The 4th grade is doing Harry Potter and she loves learning. Madi is always asking if she can go to her friends and play, which is a big difference from the years past, she is usually a home body.

Look who is 14

Kennedee turned 14 on the 10th. She is a 8th grader now. Oh heavens. She is the typical teenager. Her friends are everything to her and she spends hours texting or talking to them on FB or the phone. She loves to take pictures of everything she does. She has a lot of friends and she is a happy kid. She LOVES soccer and is playing a ton. She made the Olympic Development Team this year and will practice all winter and find out in the spring if she makes the final cut. She went to Vegas over Thanksgiving and took 2nd place. She is now getting ready to go to Phoenix over Presidents day for another soccer tournament. She gets good grades and she is a pretty good kid.
For Kennedee's birthday she had a lot of fun. Friday night she went to the movies with her friends. Saturday we went to Chuck A Rama (her choice) with Madi, Mom, Rachel, Mimi, Stran, Grandma and Grandpa. We all went to Jump on it after and the kids played for awhile. The girls wanted to try on Prom dresses so we headed to the mall and then to ODP practice, then out to dinner with the Binghams. It was a very nice birthday weekend.
